  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
    • This regulation defines the functions and status of the Department of automation of the chemical industries of the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kiev Polytechnic Institute»
    • Department of chemical productions – This is the basic structural unit of the University of, What is educational, methodical and scientific activity for a certain specialty.

  1. THE MAIN TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT
  • Providing of educational process in accordance with the standards of education for students of higher education. Proceedings at the highest level of educational activity, that provides higher education obtaining a suitable degree according to selected specialties.
  • Providing practical training of persons, learning at the University, through the passage of practice in enterprises, in institutions and organizations in accordance with concluded treaties of the University or its structural subdivisions, providing practical training.
  • Proceedings of the educational, scientific, innovation, international and other activity.
  • Providing creative activities of participants in the educational process. Preservation and enhancement of the moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of society.
  • Establishing international connections in proceedings of the international activities of the University in the field of education, Science, sports, art and culture.
  • Ensure the training of graduate students and doctoral candidates and innovation type, the formation of the modern science of human potential, capable to ensure the development and implementation of innovative scientific developments.
  • Development of textbooks, textbooks and scientific papers, methodological and other publications on the profile of the work of the Department and to provide academic presence of the Department in the Internet.
  • Organization of training and improvement of professional skill of scientific and pedagogical and scientific workers of the Department.
  • Activity of the Department is carried out on the basis of the annual plan of work of the Department, covering trends and tasks, in this position. The Department's work plan discussed and approved at its meeting of.

  1. THE FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT

In the field of educational process:

  • holding training sessions, implementation of the control measures of educational disciplines according to the standards of higher education and the regulation on the Organization of educational process, curriculum and academic disciplines;
  • proposals Dean to the schedule of classes;
  • providing practical training of students in the field of the Department;
  • the Organization contracts for the provision of practical training of students;
  • preparing students to participate in academic competitions, contests;
  • implementation of attestation of students in the field of the Department, ensuring the effective operation of the relevant examination boards;
  • Organization and conducting of interviews and additional entrance tests to the second level of higher education for master's degree;
  • purpose and organization of the work of curators of academic groups;
  • involved in the conducted preliminary tests on the third level of higher education for obtaining the degree of doctor of philosophy.

In the area of methodological activities:

  • the development sequence of study subjects (structurally-logical schema), educational and curriculum in the field of the Department;
  • development of educational disciplines, practical training programs;
  • development of the subject of individual assignments and examination papers for respectively the degree of higher education;
  • textbooks, manuals, other educational and methodical editions of disciplines;
  • development of evaluation tools acquired in the process of teaching competencies and criteria for such evaluation, the rating systems of evaluation of students ' knowledge;
  • review and examination of educational and methodical editions of disciplines;
  • Organization and conducting of methodological, scientific-methodological seminars Department;
  • software manuals, review, counselling certification works to get under a degree of higher education;
  • development of educational (educational-professional and educational research) programs of the Faculty of the Department;
  • participation in development of information packets of chemical engineering faculty.

In the field of research and innovation:

  • ensuring highly efficient research and innovation activities of the Department through the scientific and pedagogical staff, doctoral students, graduate students and students of the Department and the employees of the scientific departments studies approved in the prescribed manner areas of science and technology, directions of innovation activity;
  • Organization of training of scientific personnel of higher qualification for fundamental, natural and engineering areas, involving the scientific leadership of the undergraduates and postgraduate students of the leading scientists of the University and academic institutions;
  • strengthening the research component in the curriculum for a masters and bringing them to the execution of the GDR;
  • participate in the development of innovative structures at the University (Science Park, Technopark, business incubators) for priority scientific directions of the Department;
  • implementation of measures for the creation of intellectual property and protection of intellectual property rights, and technology transfer, in particular through innovative environment Scientific Park «Kyiv polytechnics», and implementation of license agreements;
  • international scientific projects and programs, grants, agreements on the order of foreign organizations and companies;
  • the implementation of organizational and methodical activities to increase the citation count of scientific works of members of the, broadening their scientific publications in journals and materials conferences, the international science-metric database (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.).

In the area of organizational performance:

  • proposals regarding the formation of the personnel and the staffing schedule;
  • the Organization of quality control training classes, practical training of students;
  • establishing and maintaining relations with University departments and other organizations;
  • promoting the qualification of the teaching staff of the Department and to the employability of workers;
  • Organization of activities with the vocational guidance and training of persons in the field of the Department;
  • preparation of necessary documents for carrying out of licensing and accreditation within the specialties of the Department;
  • Organization of the work to create and maintain the official site of the Department (3-5 interesting materials for a week, focused on the target audience) and information-telecommunication system "E-Campus" in accordance with the regulations on a typical site of Department of NTUU "KPI";
  • provide information on the results of the activity of the Department;
  • ensuring the participation of the employees of the Department in the work of expert councils, commissions, groups of MES of Ukraine, specialized scientific councils;
  • keeping of documents and ensuring the transfer documents for archive storage;
  • determination of the ranking of the teaching staff of the Chair;
  • creation and support of information and communication resources in the blast zone Cree. upon University.

In the field of international activity:

  • preparation (together with VMI) draft agreements on cooperation with departments of foreign universities and organization performance;
  • initiation, holding, the formation of the program of international conferences at the level of the Department, Faculty;
  • preparation of project proposals for participation in international competitions, programs, funds, grants;
  • participation in international scientific research and publish in international journals;
  • delegation of employees for participation in international conferences, seminars, contests, exhibitions;
  • ensure the training of foreign students;
  • development of academic mobility through participation in international programmes and projects;
  • making proposals on the establishment of joint structures with foreign partners (laboratories, centers, scientific groups, editorial groups, consortia);
  • ensuring the participation of the employees of the Department in international professional organizations (mechanics, electricians, materìaloznavcìv, Welders and other similar professional r & #8217; êdnannâh);
  • coverage of the results of educational and scientific activities of the Department of English.
  1. MANAGEMENT BODIES OF THE DEPARTMENT
  • Guide the Department carries out the head of the Department, that may not be in Office for more than two terms.
  • Head of the Department must have a degree and/or academic (Honorary) the title according to the profile of the Department.
  • Head of the Chair is elected by secret ballot of the CFP by the Academic Council of the University for a period of five years, taking into account the proposals of the staff of the Faculty and Professor of. Rector of the University concludes the head of contract.
  • Head of the Chair provides the Organization of the educational process, curriculum and educational disciplines, exercises control over the quality of teaching subjects, educational-methodical and scientific activity of teachers.
  • Head of the Department provides functions of the Department and execution of orders, orders and instructions of the Rector, Dean, create in cyberspace (the global Internet) a single positive image of the Department as a division of the University, able to compete on the international market of educational and scientific services.
  • Head of Department is subordinated to the Dean of the Faculty and acting on the basis of official instructions and conditions of the contract.
  • According to the Position of supervisor unit at the Department may be elected as a scientific adviser and scientific consultant.
  • The funding of the Department is carried out within the funds of the Faculty. Organizational support of financial-economic and scientific activity of the Chair can be made through the relevant units at the level of the Faculty.
  1. TERMINATION OF THE ACTIVITY OF THE DEPARTMENT
  • Termination of the activity of the Department is carried out by its reorganization or liquidation.
  • Activity of the Department terminated the Rector in order and on conditions, Statute of NTUU "KPI" and current legislation of Ukraine, by the decision of the Academic Council.
